Welcome to the Funny Film Club!
Making your own funny films couldn't be any easier. To get started, all you need is a blank sheet of unlined paper. Here are some step-by-step instructions to get you started and on your way to creating your own films.
Does size really matter?
There is not a required size for your film strip. The size you choose is a personal preference. However, we would recommend that you make each frame either 1.5" x 1.5" or 1.75" x 1.75".
Step 1: Create your film strip - Draw lines on your paper
Grab a ruler, pencil and your sheet of paper. Place a mark every 1.5" or 1.75" across the paper. Do this again at another place further down on the page so you have 2 points to draw a straight line.
There is a trade-off between the different sizes. Selecting the 1.5" frame size will give you a litle less space in each frame, but there are 7 frames available. Choosing the 1.75" frame gives you more space in each frame, but only 6 frames to tell your story.
Step 2: Draw the vertical lines
Line up your ruler on the marks and draw your vertical lines on the page.
